Here are a couple of pics of me with very own peoples. They took these pics shortly after my foster mom left. As you can see we are all relaxing. I am so happy to have my very own family.

I think I found my furever family everybody. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Listen to what they they wrote to my foster mom earlier this evening.
“Pepper seems happy. “Grandma and Grandpa” visited and lavished her with affection. “Cousin” Frida, who was also rescued from Kentucky came over and was completely happy and at ease playing with Pepper. She also spent an hour at home alone and was just fine. She’s relaxing on the living room floor right now totally relaxed. Thumbs up!”

That means that I won’t be posting out here anymore, and that is the sad part.

My foster mom will post a picture when she gets one.

I have been working very hard on crate training while my people are at work. This weekend with my Uncle Justin I figured that my crate would be a cool place to just hang out even with the door open and people around.

Here is a pic of my foster family, they are known as the “Black Pack”

There is Charlie way over on the left, he is the oldest, he is a lab/springer, then there is Bella, she is Lab/Jack Russel, Luna, lab/ beagle (maybe – she hasn’t had her DNA test done yet), she is the newest, and Maddie is Lab/ Newfie mix.

They are pretty cool about sharing their toys.

As far as playing fetch, I am the BEST, I can beat Bella & Luna, if it’s a tie, I just swing my single leg around and take them out like bowling pins.  It helps that they only weigh 45lbs a piece, but I love them to pieces.

Of course Luna pays me back by playing the zoomies with me and cuts the 90degree angles and plop I go.  She always stops and comes back over to make sure I am ok and then we start again.

Maybe if my mom wasn’t laughing so hard, she could get a picture someday.   🙂

 

Don’t get me wrong I appreciate my foster family, but I want my own family, I want my own people to snuggle next to.  I want to learn how to sit, to stay,  to come,  all those fun things the other pups do to get goodies.  Please help me find my own peoples.  I am not too choosey, I like to sleep on beds, mine AND yours, I like to eat food, mine, AND yours, see how easy I am.

We are getting company this weekend I am told.  I have to be on my best behavior.  Not sure what that means.  My Uncle Justin is coming for the weekend.  I think I met him once.  He was kind of like me, he had a furry face. He would be the one on the left in the picture.  He is goofy and silly like me.

With my low center of gravity and the fact that i can take out all the other dogs when i come to a skidding stop i get all the balls 🙂

Now i figured out that without even trying i can fit 2 balls in my mouth, if i REALLY try i can kinda jam 3 tennis balls in my mouth.

This is all about a very special girl named Pepper Lou.

She is a rescue that we are fostering temporarily. Her orignal foster situation/adoption fell through, so we stepped in, but we have a “Black Pack” of our own, so there is a little bit of urgency, to find her her very own family.

She has been with us for just a few days now, and that has led me here.  We want to make sure that we find the right fit for this wonderful loving girl.  We know that we can’t keep her (we have 4 of our own already), but she deserves the best, so that is why we are out here.  To find the best, by networking with you folks that understand some of her special needs.  Although she can fetch as fast as our other Lab mixes, we just have to make her quit a little sooner.  

Even if someone wants to step up and do a foster to adopt that would be great 🙂
